I'm so glad you stopped by to visit!

My husband and I live in a tiny southern town with our two precious daughters, ages 9 and 6.  We love the simplicity of country living, so we sold our house in the city seven years ago and bought an 80-year-old farmhouse full of character. We lived in that sweet home for six years while completely renovating it, and then began the adventure of having a new home built in the country in the middle of a hayfield where we hope to spend many years.  I count my blessings every day for my sweet family and love spending time with them more than anything else.  A few things I enjoy are decorating our home, cooking, homeschooling our girls, attempting to vegetable garden, growing flowers with my mom for bouquets we sell at roadside flower cart stand, and dreaming up new projects.

I created this blog as a little reminder of all the things I have to be thankful for and as a journal of our home projects with a little of our daily life thrown in.  I write about the things I enjoy and I hope you enjoy reading!
